Lisa Munniksma to Speak about Image Building at The Learning Network

The Learning Network of Clinton County will present a four-part image-building seminar for area businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies. "Image is Everything," led by freelance writer and marketing consultant Lisa Munniksma, will take place 6-7:30 p.m. on July 10, 12, 17, and 19 at The Learning Network; 1111 S. Jackson Street in Frankfort. Pre-registration is required at $105 for the series.

Why image building? Your business's or organization's image is not simply what you say it is or what you think it is. Your image is based on the way others perceive you. Even the smallest business or nonprofit can have the best image and all of the respect, support, and participation that comes along with it.

In four interactive sessions, Image is Everything participants will learn about what contributes to a positive image, how to examine their group's image, and how to present the best image possible. Sessions one and two will cover your "Garden of Image" and image-building basics. Session three is about building an image by working with the media. In session four, participants will examine word-of-mouth marketing.

The Learning Network of Clinton County is a community resource offering programs to enhance workforce skills, build knowledge for career potential, and offer life-long learning opportunities.
