Passionate Ideas
I was at a planning meeting today for the Association of Women Business Owners—a brainstorming session for marketing and promoting our group in the Greater Lafayette, Indiana, area.
One of the seven at the meeting mentioned that 2007 is the group's 25th anniversary. A woman who's been a member since virtually the first meeting let out an excited gasp and said, "25 years!" She almost jumped out of her chair, but she quickly apologized for her outburst of enthusiasm.
"No, please, be excited," I encouraged, and let out a cheer of my own.
Her passion is exactly what we need to drive our message! We have a dynamic group of 95 or so successful women business owners, and we need to get excited about communicating our existence.
Passionate members=passionate ideas=passionate communication, leading to more passionate members. When excitement is evident, other people can't help but join in.

Lisa,
The marketing and promotional ideas you shared at the AWBO meeting were fantastic.
(passion + brains = a vibrant, growing business)
Thanks for all you are doing for the group!
